Ahhhh! Refreshing! More punishment please...

Finally got my drinking water delivery service from Sierra Springs stopped after much pain and suffering. Trying to make them stop dumping water bottles at my door feels like a DIY root canal, with lemon juice as local anesthesia. The "water mafia" is actually worst than AOL when it comes to break ups.
After having endured their hospitality in serving my hydration needs for 1.5 years , i felt like enough is enough.
Yes, I have been guilty of allowing these "water mongers" to control me and my family's health by consuming their quality questionble but undeniably profitable product line.
Lets see: (yearly costs)
$ 72 - rental 1 Cooler/Water dispenser
288 - 2 five gallon water bottles per delivery for a year.
Total cost of letting a centralized, FDA unmonitored company deliver water that has been filtered thru carbon and reversed osmosis, pressurized water that has been certified to be from the ground (their definition of spring water) = $ 360.00
Folks, I see a problem here..
- I have been allowing a stranger tell me what is safe to drink. That unknown entity being DS waters aka Al Hambra aka Sierra Springs
- I am relying that their equipment and processes will not and cannot be contaminated in any way
- Unnecessary redundancy. If i am about to imbibe something that a company insists of being safe to drink I only need to turn on the faucet, et voila!
- Reverse Osmosis, Carbon Filtering, UV radiation is available at the nearest Home Depot, and there is no better quality control than yourself especially when it comes to your own childrens consumption needs
Don't ask me. I might say that in general People are stupid. But I would never say that at least not on a blog where everyone could see and might be offended (most stupid people do get offended easily)
I am just glad and refreshed to rid myself of the water mafia...
How did I do it you may ask? Well, I will answer that on my next entry. (if the h2o underground have not silenced me yet.) CIAO!

Same thing happened to me when sierra springs delivered my water, they repeatedly charged me for bottles not even delivered and twice i had to call them to replace bottles that was just filthy. Anybody else had the same experience?
